Monday - Thursday

The evening kicks off with funky, soulful House, merging into Commercial R'n'B & Dance Anthems, towards midnight we move over to Indie and cheesy classics, with the last hour devoted to Club Classics

Friday

Resident DJ Andy (one of Southampton's most respected R'n'B DJ's) plays soulful sultry R'n'B to get you in the mood. Once he has got you going, he ups the tempo to mix both commercial R'n'B and Club Classics, leaving you wondering why you bother going to town for the best friday night, when clearly the best club is Sobar!

Saturday

Resident DJ Steve takes time out from producing and releasing tracks to deliver the definitive house night in Southampton. His unique mix of all genres of house and Old Skool gets the party going, before leading into a party mix of Indie, Cheese and Dance Anthems. As the dancefloor hits fever pitch, he sends the crowd wild with Club Classics both past and present.

Andy

Andy is one of Southampton's most respected R'n'B DJs. Andy switched to working Sobar at the end of 2007, to deliver his set to a student led crowd.

Having started off with a solitary night, Andy is now the Sobar regular DJ who is already booked well into 2009. Andy starts you off in a cool seductive ambience, before whipping up the frenzy to leave you wondering why you thought that Sobar was just a bar!

Steve

Steve is one of Southampton's longest serving club DJ's. His residencies have included:- New York, New York; Brannigans, The Academy, Oceana (Kingston) to name a few.

Now as a Full Time producer, when Steve is not releasing tracks, he delivers the ultimate in House and Dance at the weekend, and the best cheesy night on Mondays for the student masses. For a DJ so experienced, Steve always puts you, the customer, first. He carries no ego and he will happily play your requests all night. What music Steve doesn't have with him, isn't worth listening to.
